BlueAir donated many air purifiers to public schools in New York City after the attacks. The attacks of September 11th left contaminants such as soot, dirt and ashes that clogged the air outside and inside. Patients suffering from medical conditions such as allergies or asthma were finding it difficult to live in the city with all the irritants in the air. Air quality in New York had reached an all time low due to all the pollutants and sot circulating throughout the city.
BlueAir saw the problem the citizens were going through in New York and donated their products to the schools. With the use of air purifiers in the schools, students were able to breathe easier in their classrooms. The children that were asthma or allergy sufferers did not have to fear the air in their classrooms and were able to concentrate better with the air purifiers present. The comfort of the school and the alertness of the students and staff were returned to normal after the purifiers were installed.
The company was able to donate 25 Model 501 purifiers to the school system and sold another 75 at cost to them. The units were placed in classrooms, gyms and cafeterias in schools all over the city. They spread relief of toxins in the air to many students and staff of the schools. By donating these purifiers, BlueAir showed the public they have faith in their products to relieve the air of toxins.
