Pick the GC series based on your particular need. How does the IQAir GC Series circulate air? The 4 models in the GC Series are the Multi-gas, VOC, Chemisorber, and AM models. Each model in the GC Series contains four reusable high capacity gas filter cartridges that provide a specific type of gas, chemical, or voc control. The cartridges are cylindrical in shape and have a large surface area that promotes high gas removal and ensures a high airflow rate through the machine. These units also feature statically charged particulate filtration media in the forms of a pre-filter and a post filter sleeves. IQAir GC Series Gas Cartridge Technology The IQAir GC series uses four reusable filter cartridges to hold up to 12 lbs. of gas phase media. The cylindrical shape of these cartridges allows for optimum contact between the air and gas phase media, which ensure high removal efficiencies. The large surface area of the cartridges enables high air flow rates. Since IQAir gas filter cartridges are reusable, replacing them is not only economical, but also environmentally friendly. IQAir GC Series High-Efficiency Particulate Filtration The particulate filtration GC units complement the gaseous filtration process by removing over 97% of particles before they can reach the gas phase media. This increases the efficiency and life of the media by preventing its pores from clogging. The GC units' overall filtration efficiency for particles is 97% at .3 microns. The post filter is electrostatically charged to trap particulate pollutants and microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses. IQAir GCX Series Air Purifiers The IQAir GCX Series is engineered to provide maximum high-capacity removal efficiency for gaseous contaminants and odors. These high-performance air cleaning devices can easily be customized to meet almost any gas phase removal need, whether in hospitals, laboratories, commercial or light industrial environments.
