• This stuff is awful
  I purchased round and square Frigoverre storage containers and both performed poorly. They chip and break easily if dropped. One container cracked when I put it in the freezer, spilling wonderful Tuscan bean soup all over when I went to defrost it. Stick to good old American Pyrex. Our Pyrex bowls never break and handle freezing and baking beautifully....more info
• Nice Bowls BUT
  Like the bowls BUT the largest bowl lid does not fit tight. And all the lids have deep grooves around the edges (inside and outside edges) that hold water....more info

  My wife prefers these glass storage dishes over the more commonly-available pyrex ones because the lids make a better seal. The set of 4 also nests well for easy storage when not in use....more info
• Beautiful thick tempered glass
  I was going to change my review to rate this 5 stars, but Amazon won't let me. This set is very thick and pretty, but packaged incredibly poorly. I am surprised that they didn't arrive broken. The lids are flexible and form a good airtight seal. These are a GREAT deal on sale for amazon's price. They will not stain like plastic and the glass poses no health risks. I use them all the time and they come in convenient sizes. I have the square set as well....more info

  These storage containers are attractive and glass is the current recommendation for use in a microwave, which is why I purchased them. A major drawback is that the lids are NOT microwavable. I would not have purchased them had I been aware of that fact. Unfortunately, you have to read the fine print to discover this particular inconvenience. They are heavy to carry to work for lunch and you have to push the center of the lid down carefully and firmly or the contents will spill. ...more info

  Purchased my first set of these about 25 years ago. Finally the last one broke when I dropped it on my foot (owww). So glad to replace them. Sturdy and safe food storage. Clear, clean, no surfaces to absorb odors or emit chemicals. But heed the instructions - don't microwave the lids. I didn't,but I've done it to other plastic lids before, with very bad results....more info
