Wow! This thing WORKS!! I got a Jack LaLane Power Juicer before Christmas, but it went back the next day. Carrots were almost impossible. I have monstrous food allergies and am trying to go all organic and non toxic, so juicing is a great way to get nutrition.
This model is super fast, super easy to assemble and disassemble, super easy to clean, and looks good on the counter.
What more can you ask for???
PS, it's not as much fun as the Harley though...
Great buy for a great product....more info
- Nicer juicer, messy to clean
Yes the juicer juices, brilliant in fact, so quick. Not good if your in a hurry, and want to make something on the way to work, must clean before leaving, takes an extra 10 minutes, otherwise all the sticky fruit is a nightmare to remove later. Not good for me always in a hury....more info
- Time saver
Over the years I've tried several types of high end juicers. They have all sat on my kitchen counter collecting dust until I purchased the Breville juicer. The decision breaker for me was the fact that I use it all the time--it's fast and easy. My time isn't spent cutting veggies to fit into the tiny chute of most other juicers . The chute opening on the Breville is very large and will handle whole smaller apples. Another bonus is that you don't have to use all your strength pushing veggies through the chute, they get sucked in immediately. Friends and family get a big kick out of watching me juice veggies and love the taste.
With any juicer there are some downsides so you need to see what works best for your particular situation and weigh the options. For one, it doesn't do leafy veggies without wrapping it around a carrot or something to push it through the chute. Usually, I use my blender (K-Tech or Vitamix) for green leafy veggies and blend the mixture with the juice--the fiber is good for you. Sometimes the disk filter takes time to completely clean all the tiny specks lodged in the mesh basket, but overall I don't spend more than 5 to 7 minutes total time in cleanup. Food oxidizes faster with this type of juicer but if you drink it right away you don't lose that many nutrients. If you're wanting to juice soft fruit, use a blender.
Finally, for me, the positive aspects of this machine far outweigh the negative and the good news is I use it all the time and love it....more info
- This thing is Wonderful a real "Work of Art"
Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor
I got this from bestseller21 here on Amazon.
It got here on time and brand new just as I was told it would.
I took it out of the box and put it on my counter where I plan to keep it .
This thing is Beautiful and even makes my kitchen look better.
I washed it (just to be safe) but it was spotless to start with.
When I turned it on I must admit it turned me on a little because I love good craftsmanship and ...POWER...and it has both.
I started dropping apples, celery and carrots in it just to see them disappear in seconds and produce flowing juice into juice jug.
I got a little carried away and filled the jug up so fast it ran over a bit but I just laughed and wiped up the spill.
The juice was great and I drank the whole jug full right away by myself.
For future reference that might not have been the best idea I ever had.
One hour later I realized that all those live enzymes will clean you up and clean you out so next time a 8 oz. glass of that particular concoction will suffice.
All in all this thing works great, looks beautiful and makes me feel I have made a good investment. If you read any bad reviews on this juicer just blow them off because they are truly unfounded.
Oh yea I almost forgot ... Clean up is really easy just 5 minutes at the sink and your done. So if you want a great powerful and beautiful juicer buy a Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor.
I did and I love it....more info
- BEST JUICER.....BY FAR!!!!!!
I have owned a $100.00 Juice Man juicer for a year and it finally stopped working. It was hard to clean. I juice every morning and alternate between Fruit (apples, pears, pineapple, oranges and limes) and vegetables (plum tomatoes, celery, carrots, jalapeno, cilantro). The carrot residue is exceedingly difficult to remove from the basket and the tomato seeds get stuck between the cutting blades. The brush is cheap and slowly lost about half of the bristles over the year. When it quit, I fell for the TV hype and bought a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer Pro. What a piece of junk! At least the Juice Man has a good positive locking bar. The J.L Power Juicer has plastic grommets on top of the locking bar and a plastic cover which does not provide a good lock. Poor design!!!
I was told it was defective and sent it back and it was replaced. The second machine bogged down with the slightest pressure.
Its basket had the identical problems encountered with the Juice Man I sent it back and got a refund.
THEN I bit the bullet and bought the Breville Juicer.(800JEXL) Top of the line $299.00. with a 30.00 discount coupon at B.B and Beyond. The Titanium basket is twice as easy to clean. Carrots clean on the first run and it has yet to retain one tomato seed. Its rpm is so much faster than the other two. AND the residue is normally quite dry. The residue from Juice Man and JL Power Juicer was nrmally quite wet (contrary to the TV Hype). I bought small waste basket trash bags put in the residue catcher and cleaning is a breze. The Breville has the fewest parts, all the metal parts are sturdy. The juice collector is big (1 quart) and better in that it contains the juice better. The froth separator is ok ...but not that great on any of the machines. Thats ok for me as I always throw the fruit juice in a blender and add a banana and a raw egg. The veggies do not froth half as much. The Breville brush seems to have the bristles attached better as well. Have not lost one yet during cleaning.
Botom line...if you ae a hard core juicer and want a strong machine that easy to clean, sturdy and simple.....Buy the Breville Model 800JEXL. It has not bogged down on high speed and 99% of the time the residue does not chunk. I am totally satisfied.
- Excellent juicer
Use it for both vegetable and fruit juice extraction. It's quick. Also clean-up afterwards is not a pain....more info
- Juicer lives up to reputation
The Breville 800 JEXL juicer has met my every expectation. The stainless steel cleans with an easy rinse. Plastic bags in the waste bin make it a no-brainer in keeping the bin clean. I can clean the juicer in 5-10 minutes. The easy cleaning makes for wanting to juice each day. The juicer is quite heavy which means that it stays in place, even at the highest RPM. The engineering of the juicer is quite clever and alot of thought went into it. I would recommend it to everyone. Juice extraction is great. No downsides to this machine for us....more info
- A Super Juicer!
This truley is a super juicer! I have owned other juicers before, but never have I been as impressed with a juicer. It is a very powerful machine & so easy to operate! I am very glad that I bought it....more info
- Absolutely Fabulous!!
I received my Juicer about 3 weeks ago and wanted to make sure to really use it before writing this review. I had read about 60 of the amazon reviews which is why i decided to try this juicer.
i have been a vegan who juices usually 2-4 times per day. Prior to this Breville, I was using a Champion juicer. I had gotten used to drinking really thick juice with lots of pulp at the bottom of my glass and all these years I thought all juicers juiced leaving all the pulp at the bottom. Granted the pulp is good for you, but since I juice lots of green spinach and kale and greens that dont taste that great pulpy, i never really liked it.
anyhoo, the breville is SUPER FAST, the juice quality is GREAT, i dont get all that pulp at the bottom so the juice taste better. The cleanup is fairly easy but as with all juicers Ive seen the most cleanup is in the basket. you need to scrub it with the supplied scrubber.
I dont see any faults with the machine....just user error. word of caution, be careful when you pull the handle to dissassembly the juicer. i got my finger caught underneath a couple times. no biggie tho,
this juicer is well worth every penny!!! Trust all the positive reviews....more info
- 1000 watts of Art
The Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor
works extremely well for us.
It holds a great deal of juice, although, we keep a pitcher nearby to increase capacity. Also, the discard bucket is quite large with capability to add a plastic bag for easier cleanup.
For those whom enjoy the benefits of freshly squeezed juice, this powerful machine may be for you!...more info
- Close to perfect
Excellent juicer. Last part of whaterve your juicing always causes a loud "clunck" sond as it shoots it to the waste basket, but it sucks all the juice out of everything. Not too loud considering its power. Very easy to clean, assemble and disassemble. Great buy....more info
- How does it do on wheatgrass?
I could not post this comment without rating it product, so I gave it a four.
I recently bout the HB Big Mouth, it does a good job, but not on wheatgrass. I'm considering returning the HB Big Mouth for this model. Any comments?...more info
- Great Juicer
I have had this juicer for over a year and just purchased one for my in-laws. It is a wonderful juicer, easy to use, easy to clean, and an added plus, looks nice sitting out on your kitchen counter. It does a good job of extracting all the juice from the fruits and vegetables. The pulp that is ejected is very dry. The large opening is a huge time saver, as you don't have to cut the fruits and vegetables into small pieces. The juice catching container has measuring lines and a cover that prevents any splatters. There are only a few minor negatives: (1)because of the speed it does produce a fair amount of foam and (2) it does not juice grasses or greens very well. But, there isn't a juicer out there that does both fruits/veggies AND greens well. You really have to have two different kinds of juicers for that. All in all, I am extremely pleased with this juicer. I would highly recommend it....more info
- Great Daily Juicer!
I purchased this model after being disappointed with the less expensive Breville juicer. I love this juicer and use it daily. It juices quickly and provides more juice than the cheaper model. The Stainless Steel components are easier to clean and the mesh net does not clog (I have not had to soak it as the manual recommends). The waste is nearly dry when using this machine, which gives me confidence that I'm getting my money's worth. My only issue with the product is that you really need to adjust the components or it leaks. Overall, this product is worth the extra money....more info
- great macine!
Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor
I enjoy using the machine every morning. Easy to operate and easy to clean - I make apple, carrot, papaya and many other types of juice. Helps to keep me and my spouse healthy. I would strongly recommend this product to you.
- I prefer Breville's Ikon
I've had the opportunity to try both the Elite and the Ikon. I much prefer the Ikon. I found the Elite unnecessarily large. Both have the same ample-sized 3" fruit and vegetable receptacle in width, but the Elite's "food pusher" and chute are longer than the Ikon's, making the Elite more difficult to fit under an upper kitchen cabinet. The Elite looked too industrial and imposing on the counter. The Ikon looks "just right," and the Ikon's additional speed controls are a great plus. Also, the Ikon's "safety locking arm" is easier to use, possibly because it's more substantial, and the "arm" is more attractive than the Elite's.
WORTH NOTING: I bought the Ikon from Bed, Bath & Beyond. With their 20% off coupon, it was less expensive than Amazon's price and I didn't have to wait for Amazon to ship it to me. (I live close enough to BB&B to have been able to bring the juicer home in my shopping cart so no shipping charge was incurred -- both now charge sales tax, at least if bought in or sent to New York City so there was no saving for me if I bought from Amazon.) I returned the first Ikon to BB&B for another because I sensed something was not totally right. Sure enough the second Ikon felt and sounded perfect. (The pulp was definitely drier. I still sometimes run the pulp through a second time and the juice yield is greater. I just don't know if the additional amount is worth the effort.) I suspect variations of quality between the machines occurs frequently, so don't hesitate to make an exchange if you believe something is wrong. Amazon.com and BB&Beyond are very customer friendly so returning and/or exchanging was very easy.
WORTH NOTING #2: The reconditioned Breville extractor I received from Amazon.com was in amazingly bad condition. (I think the former owner cleaned the plastic juicer cover with the cleaning brush that should be used only on the filter basket.) The plastic was so scratched that no part of it was clear. The machine should never have been sent to me. The good news is that Amazon.com took it back with only a few questions.) I have since learned that there's a link on the ordering page for juicers that are "reconditioned" that allows you to specify the condition of the reconditioned machine that you're willing to accept.
Thanks to the reviews I read on Amazon.com of others who experienced the juicers before me, I knew to use a plastic bag in the pulp container -- definitely a helpful hint. I think too much is made of the difficulty and time consumption involved in cleaning the juicer. The important part to clean ASAP is the stainless steel filter basket. I just fill the sink with warm, sudsy water and drop parts in to be cleaned when I'm ready. If the plastic does become stained by carrots, a little fresh lemon rubbed on the stain removes it.
Good luck on your choice....more info

- Breville 800JEXL one month on
I believe that everyone would benefit from reading Robert Thomas' review and some of the comments that go with it.
I have found no reason to be anything but satisfied. It arrived within 2 days via std shipping - unexpectedly in time for Christmas. It has worked almost perfectly, with no unnecessary debris launches, rattles, or mishaps [for the whole month we've had it] Occasional juice escapes but not much. Yes it is big but I'm happy to have it on the counter where I know it's getting the attention it deserves [demands]. It's fast, not too loud, and fairly painless to clean. In general the only down sides are that it doesn't do everything as we knew beforehand and I've been subjected to a few unnecessary flavor combinations as the gift's recipient experiments.
Examples [for illustration not complaint]; we have failed to have much success with flavoring juices with things leafy or things that lack enough mass to be thoroughly abused by all those little teeth. Cloves of garlic and lumps of ginger are pitiful examples that we have not yet found a work around for yet. The booklet suggests wrapping and leafy things around and between heftier items, sometimes it works but not always. With soft fruits like mango we have seen sufficient reward from 're-extracting' the pulp to be worth the sticky fingers - I'd say that goes on a produce by produce experimentation basis and on how firm they are. I'm keen to keep experimenting. Regulars like apples, carrots, and celery are a dream.
I have to say it is very nice to de-stress by watching an apple simply cease to exist and be rewarded for your depraved guttural satisfaction with a tasty beverage. Yes we get through a lot more veggies and fruit - but that was the plan though for some reason I now find I'm eating more apples as well.
Overall, a very happy purchase and thanks to Robert Thomas et al. ...more info
- Breville 800JEXL
I recently bought this Breville 800JEXL juicer for vegetable juice, it is an amazing product. It saves about 3/4 of the time to make the same amount of juice.
I love the option of higher speed for denser pulp and vegatable. I am certainly happy with the product.
- The Breville juicer is awesome
I have been through a number of juicers in my life. A number produced good juice but with a MAXIMUM of effort especially when it came to cleanup time.
I now make several days worth of apple juice, carrot juice, and a berry mixture (good in OJ or by itself) and do a full cleanup in around an hour. And it's true this machine even juices complete apples (medium to small).
The only issue I have had so far is having the juice collecting jug overflow because I am juicing fruit at such a fast rate.
This is a very good product and certainly worth the price. It also makes a healthy life-style a whole lot easier to maintain. ...more info

- Excellent product
The Breville 800 lived up to expectations. We were persuaded by the other reviews to give this juicer a try. Construction is very solid, there's no movement of the unit on the counter while in use (lighter models would be likely to be much less stable), cleanup is a snap (another reviewer suggested using your grocery vegetable bags in the pulp container to make cleanup even faster, and it was a terrific tip). We haven't had any trouble with any of the fruits/vegetables going through easily, regardless of hardness. This may sound a little unusual, but when we run spinach through, we run it first and collect the pulp before any other fruits/vegetables are run through. Makes for excellent chopped spinach with dinner. If you like spinach. ...more info

- QUALITY MADE
This is my very first juicer and I am glad that I chose this one as my first. The quality and craftsmanship are first rate. Most parts are stainless steel and well crafted and it feels like a machine that will last for years. No matter what I am juicing the motor has plenty of power and the speed dosn't flucuate even when using hard vegtables. Clean up is simple and takes only a couple of minutes.
I have used it daily since I have gotten it and really enjoy juicing. I have a glass or two of a friut and vegatable mix daily and am amazed at the flavor and amount of juice that the fruit and veggies produce.
Not having anything to compare it to I can only say this is a high quaility product that meets all of my expectations. ...more info

I HAVE OWNED MANY JUICERS, LIKE THE CHAMPION, THE ACME AND THE JUIC LADY BUT THIS BREVILLE JUICER IS BY FAR THE MOST AMAZING JUICER EVER. IT JUICES FAST, QUIET, AND IS THE CADILLAC AMONG JUICERS. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON ANY OTHER ONE. BUY THIS ONE AND YOU WILL BE SET FOR LIFE....more info

- The Juiceman Cometh
Breville to my rescue! It's been about four months now since my purchase of this juicer. It arrived quick and in tact. On my first use of this "powerful" machine-I notice a slight lost of lower sound registery in my ears....so, on the next usage of the juicer I used cushioned ear plugs. It solved the issue, but this seemed a bit counter productive. With more usage and without the ear plugs...I no longer notice any lower ear sound lost issue. Just to note...the hearing bounced back. After a couple of hours on the first use- I guess the motor had to calibrate after the first run. The wide nossle makes it extremly easy to toss whole fruits like mid-sized apples, large cucumbers without chopping. The torq on this machine is amazing. I had a Jack Lalane Juiceman for years (9). The J.L. juiceman was still working and I gave it to a friend and upgraded to this stronger Breville 800 JEXL. In comparision to the J.L. juiceman the one thing I find a tad flemsy on the Breville is the mesh screen that traps and extracts the juice. When I wash it with the scrub brush that comes with this product it seems as if with a little more force the mesh might pop out of its joint/frames. With the J.L. juiceman the mesh screen was very sturdy and not as flemsy as the Breville. Clean up on this product is not as time consuming as one think. This machine is a warrior configuration-built to last.To save on clean up, I simply place a plastic bag in the pulp container and toss it out afterwards. This is a "GOOD" investment for anyone looking to bump up their health regamine. I had my doubts at first, but with one use-you'll be glad you invested the money in this baby!...more info
- Absolutely Wonderful!!
This juicer is absolutely wonderful! It's easy to use and the instructions are very easy to understand. The instruction booklet also contains a variety of tasty recipes...so far we have liked every one we have tried. Cleanup is a snap. The funnel for puting in your fruit, veggies, &/or herbs is wide so there is not a lot of chopping that has to be done. I also like that the makers encourage consumers to use fruit/veggies that are in season, tell you how to use the leftover pulp or if you choose not to, encourage you to put them in your compost pile.I highly recommend this item!...more info
- Wow! What a power juicer!
I was not disappointed in any way with the purchase of this juicer. All of the positive reviews I read about this machine were true!
It is engineered like any really good juicer should be:
1. Powerful and efficient
2. Easy to use (even for new juicers)
3. Well constructed with mostly stainless steel and easy/fast to dismantle and reassemble
5. EASY to clean
6. and also.....EASY to clean!
My wife and I can make a gallon of juice in a matter of a few minutes, and the 4 parts of the juicer that need to be cleaned (besides the juice pitcher) can be cleaned in about 5 minutes. (unlike some other juicers like the Jack Lalaine which can take forever to clean their multiple cheap plastic parts.)
If we want to make several different juices or juice mixes, it is also very easy to dismantle, clean quickly, and go on to making the next juice. We sometimes make 4 or 5 different juice concoctions and have the machine cleaned and ready to put away in less than an hour. (wow!)
It is also very quiet in comparison to other machines. The two speed motor is also very useful when mixing different ingredients (such as low speed for citrus juices, and high speed for other ingredients).
I have not owned my juicer very long, but it has been really a great experience with this one. (unlike some of my friends who bemoan their experiences with other brands) I have been told also by other friends that the Breville brand is much more reliable and that the customer service and warranty are very good.
After I wear this one out (probably will take a long time as it is very well made!), I will definately get another Breville!...more info

- This is an EXCELLENT juicer
I am glad a bought this juicer because it is powerful and EASY TO CLEAN!!!
I have refrained from juicing in the past because my various juicers were hard to clean and did not do the job without dancing all over the counter top and causing some juice to splatter and drip. This one is WINNER with two speeds and a powerful motor. I love the fact that I can juice whole apples and about 4 or five carrots bunched together. I can have my juice in about 30 seconds (providing that I had washed my vegetables and fruits washed before storing them in the fridge). The juicer appears to be slight overpriced so I had to stretch my budget a little but to afford it but I am glad I did. I am already reaping the benefits of the juice fountain. I love it....more info

- Bigger is NOT Better...Not what I expected.
I'm returning it. Let me say right away that I've been juicing with an Acme 6001 juicer for years. It was time for a new juicer so I bought the hottest selling one. Not what I expected.
First, I bought a Acme 6001 years ago and I wanted a new juicer that would be less noisy and easier to clean. The Breville supposedly has more technology and is more than twice as much money, but MUCH LOUDER & more of a hassle to clean. How does that work?
Second, The HIGH switch is louder than 12 Mikita electric drills on at the same time. The worst part is the sudden and violent jerks the juicer makes when it finishes every carrot or apple. You almost feel like you need to shield yourself b/c it seems like its going to come apart any second at high speed. You only really need to use the LOW switch. I can't see how anything could survive the HIGH switch. Its unnecessary! What do they think I'm processing? A cow?!
Third, the container that holds the juice and the transparent cover over the disposal bin changed color right after I used it. The carrot stained the equipment and it doesn't come off easily, which raises another red flag about the quality of the plastic and if its similar to the chemicals that leak out of bottled water. Last thing, if your not careful when your washing it, you can cut yourself on the metal that goes on before the strainer. There are two very sharp edges on the filter bowl.
But wait that's not all, the Breville doesn't even juice all of the produce! The pulp has pieces that escapes the strainer. A waste of time & money. NO thanks!
- Love it so far!
After much online research, I requested this juicer for mother's day! It was quite an expense but it's an investment in my health and I wanted one that would work well and last (I had a Krups juicer that died years ago). So far, I absolutely LOVE it! It is quick, easy to use, powerful, and clean up is a breeze! I wash all my veggies ahead of time and wrap them in the fridge so they are ready to go anytime I want juice, it can't get easier! The chute is the biggest I have seen so it requires minimal cutting. I love the suggestion of putting a bag in the pulp container for easy clean up. I remove the ziplock bag when done, and can put it right in the freezer for future use in soups or baked goods. It makes great juice, easy to use, and easy clean up. I hope it lasts me for years to come!...more info
- This mashine is very good for 10 - 15 oz.
1. This machine is very good up to 15 oz ( 450 g) of juice. It produce good dry peelings. If you try to produce 30 oz ( 1 litter ) of juice, don't expect that it would be very dry. It can disappoint you.
2. This machine is really easy for washing, it takes couple of minutes to disassemble and wash. It has very nice brush for cleaning sieve as well....more info
- Awesome juicer
Not much to say other than this juicer is awesome. Never owned a juicer before this one but this is the way to get started. I mean you can juice a whole bag of apples in only a few minutes and very efficiently. This machine does not mess around at all. It gets the job done and does it well. Also, it's a breeze to clean. . .5 pieces all together and comes with cleaning brush/spatula. Stainless steel and washes down clean with very little effort. Has two speeds. . .low for the softer fruits/veggies and fast for the harder ones ie. carrots, apples, ginger. I'm convinced it's one of the best juicers on the market....more info

- Love this juicer!
I am so happy with my juicer! I have wanted one for years, but wasn't sure which brand to buy. I read everything i could on various juicers, and finally decided on the Breville 800EXL Juice Fountain Elite.
First of all, I wanted it to fit on my counter, which it does. Being so heavy, I didn't want to have to drag it out of a cabinet every time I wanted to use it. I also wanted a powerful machine, easy to operate and easy to clean. This machine doesn't disappoint. Juicing is fast and clean-up is a breeze. I wash the parts by hand and reassemble the machine in minutes.
My only complaint is that there is a very slight "spitting" of juice from tiny gaps in the corners where the cover meets the pulp container. This is not a big deal. I simply line the pulp container with a plastic bag (either a produce bag or a plastic grocery bag) before juicing. I bring the edges of the bag up and over the top of the juicer, covering those two tiny gaps and solving the problem. The engineers may want to see if they can close those gaps in future products.
All in all, this juicer was worth the price for me. I recommend it to anyone who is thinking of getting a juicer. ...more info
- BEST JUICER
I researched many different juicers before purchasing and have found this juicer to have had the best reviews. Not only does this thing perform like the reviews say,it also is maore than easy to clean. The price may be a seem a little steep, but the way I look at it is this. Why buy three cheap juicers that will eventually break, when you can buy a stainless steel juicer that will last you for years to come. Enjoy
- High Quality Product - Highly Recommended
I have used the Juiceman II juicer for several years. I thought it was pretty good. But I wasn't thrilled with with fastening mechanism that held the top in place, the juice spout (which leaked and would over shoot the juice container) and overall construction. Though the product worked pretty well, the white plastic bowl which housed the cutting blade, became discolored by the fruits and veggies that were passed through it, and the product was messy to use.
I just purchased the Breville 800JEXL and am pleasantly surprised. The Stainless Steel Bowl that houses the cutting disc, is a welcome sight. It uses a spigot to fill the juice pitcher and prevents spills and mess. The machine is very quiet, and works very quickly.
Comparing the Juiceman II to the Breville 800JEXL is similar comparing a Geo Metro to a Lexus (which I don't own, but know the quality standard). Both work, but the quality, ergonomics and consumer experience make the difference.
I have read many reviews before buying this unit and they are accurate. I cannot see a problem with the product after using it 6 times.

* Electrical cord sits off to the side at the front. (different but qualifies as functional)

- Love it!
Having been without a juicer for so long, I was delighted to start back up again. After seeing the volume of positive reviews, I was excited to test drive this awesome juicer. What a great piece of equipment! The dual speed power if a plus. The lower setting is a real bonus for juicing those softer fruits. I really like the design of the collection pitcher. It holds back the, sometimes, "dry" foam when pouring the juice. This makes for a better finished product. The all-steel construction of the bowl is a good design element. This was the part that failed on my old juicer which was partially plastic. The Breville Elite is a great buy....more info
- Happy with juicer
My husband and I researched juicers before ordering the Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain. We have processed at least 30 5-gallon buckets of small apples this fall and have been very pleased with the quantity (about 5 qt/bucket)and quality of the juice. It has been a great way to use the apples that are too small to use any other way. I also heated the juice and filtered it through cheesecloth before making it into hot apple cider for a party....more info
- A Truly "Great" Juicer
Other Juicers I have bought now reside in a dark lonely closet, but this one sits almost as a show-piece on the counter always ready for the family to use at thier leisure. It is eons ahead of all the others I have seen & tried. I truly love it....more info
