  This is the air purifiier that for the money is most highly recommended by the two sources we should all go for info regarding products. Consumer reports and [...]. I thought this was an excellent machine. It does a good job of cleaning the air.
  
  Its fairly quiet and of course makes quite a bit of noise on higher settings. All in all it does a nice job and is a good value. You will need to buy replacement prefilter and filter with relative frequency, but the machine will tell you when you need to, as it has a light to indicate each of those. There are no wheels so its not the easiest to carry.
  
  But it does not weight much. I think this is the best air purifiier out there for the money and the two sources that I named above are the ONLY places one needs to go to check out products. Also it does not have a carbon filter except in the prefilter ( a pre fiter is like a sponge its very thin about half the thickness of a regular sponge). But I spoke to an industrial hygenist who questions whethere there really is help with a regular carbon filter as there is only a certain spot in each part of the carbon that can hold the gas odor.
  
  Once its full its useless, so there is major question if any of those "carbon filters" are worthwhile. In the emergency room when a patient is on a resperator they change the carbon filter daily. Yes daily. Best of luck with your purchase. [...]...more info
