Product Description

With sloped sides and a tapered rim, this 12-inch skillet works great for cooking omelets, pancakes, and quesadillas, as well as sauteing vegetables or searing fish. The cookware features Heat Surround technology and premium triple-ply construction that bonds 18/10 stainless steel to a core of pure aluminum for fast, even heat distribution, eliminating hot spots that can burn foods. And due to its quantanium nonstick interior, food removes effortlessly from the pan and oils and fats quickly clean off. The skillet's generously sized handle stays comfortably cool on the stovetop for a secure grip and offers a hole at the end for convenient hanging. The cookware is dishwasher-safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the polished shine.

Customer Reviews:

  • 23 years on, it's the best cookware I've ever had
I am writing to rate the Cuisinart Cookware the best I have ever owned. I bought the complete set of cookware as it was in 1983. It still looks great, all with just bon-ami and a plastic scub sponge. I've added to it over the years, and gotten two non-stick skillets, and I'd never trade. If you want cookware that will outlive you, this is the best.
The only thing that has changed in 23 years is the handle-for the better....more info
  • Cuisinart Multiclad Pro 10" Nonstick SS Skillet
This is an excellent skillet that requires very low heat for cooking, and cleanup is a breeze. I have the regular cuisinart multiclad set, which is awesome, but I no longer use those skillets since purchasing this one. No more Barkeepers Friend and scouring required. It is off the stove, cool down and wash with dish soap and warm water. I have had no problem with bits of teflon flaking off.

I would highly recommend this skillet to anyone looking....more info
  • Great!
I use it several times a week. It cooks well and cleans up easily...more info
  • 5 stars
One of the nicest non-stick pans I have seen...It is heavy duty, large, flat, well built and cooks evenly......more info
  • Excellent
I bought this pan about 8 months ago and have used it regularly. The pan still looks brand new (with the help of a little Bar Keeper's Friend every now and then). The entire multiclad pro line looks fantastic (I own the 12 piece stainless set), and this pan is no exception. The handles stay cool while cooking even at high temperatures. The non-stick surface still looks glossy and dark in color, unlike teflon, which changes with heat over time and tends to flake. This is by far the best non-stick skillet I have ever owned.

My only complaint is that there is no lid for this large pan. The smaller two skillets that I own work with lids that came in the 12 piece set, but I can't find one offered to work with a 12 inch skillet. I will probably buy something generic, just sort of a shame though....more info
  • Very happy with MultiClad Pro
For 10 years I've used my 8 inch All-Clad non-stick fry pan every day and I've loved it. But non-stick coatings eventually wear out even with the best of care and my fry pan had reached the end of its life.

Based on the great reviews of Cuisinart's MultiClad Pro cookware, I purchased their 8 inch non-stick fry pan as a replacement. I have not been disappointed. The pan is solid and well-made and distributes heat evenly.

A bonus for me was the old lid from the All-Clad pan fits the new Cuisinart pan perfectly!

  • Thanks to the space program
We bought all 3 sizes of the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro nonstick skillets about a year and a half ago, and absolutely love them. This isn't teflon - it's some sort of titanium coating developed for the space program. We use them every day, and there's no sign of flaking as usually happens with teflon. Although they don't come with lids, we also bought some of the casseroles, a dutch oven, and several sizes of saucepans, and the lids that came with those fit the skillets. The only thing missing from the line is a 1 quart saucepan. If anything ever does happen to the nonstick coating, we've been so satisfied that we'll just replace them....more info
  • Nice but expensive
Its a good skillet. The standard Cuisinart 12 glass fits it perfectly if you happen to have that. Haven't had it very long so I don't know how it will age but overall it seems like its overpriced by about $10-15....more info
  • very happy
I have not been disappointed with any of the Cuisinart MCP cookware I have bought. I highly reccommend it to everyone!...more info
  • Most used piece
I own the MCP 12 piece stainless steel, but wanted a decent non-stick skillet so I picked this up. It works great and has been the most used piece I own...
I do wish it would have come with a lid (or one was offered separately) but I found an inexpensive 12" all-purpose chef's classic that had a great glass semi-domed lid that I purchased and use the lid from....more info
  • Excellent value
Cuisinart Multiclad is the best value on the market. Their products cook very evenly and are easy to clean. What more could I want?...more info
