Fight Night Round 3 brings back Fight Night, the undisputed champion of boxing games. It's one of the best looking and playing sports games on the market. It's the closest thing to being in the ring without getting punched. - 3 new Impact Punches, with high risk and high reward - put down your opponent or get knocked on the canvas. Players are only one punch away from the entire dynamic of the fight changing!
- Clench down on that mouth guard, rookie! Super Punch lets you feel the impact of a devastating punch, as the boxer's face ripples from that blow
- Design a fighting style all your own, and see how you match up against the authentic signature styles from the world's best fighters
- Establish rivalries by intimidating opponents before the big fight with heated press conferences, trash talkin', and fights at weigh-ins
- Watch ESPN Classic footage of real-life bouts or re-create the greatest fights from past and present
- Not suitable for PSP
I had Round 2 for the PS2 and loved that game. While this is a great game, it is simply not playable on the PSP. The learning curve is seemingly shallow at first, and then you hit a wall and cannot progress further. You cannot win the big fights without being able to throw haymakers at the right time, and throwing haymakers are nearly impossible with the controlls set up for the PSP. While this is a fun, addicting game, and well-made, it is not suitable for the PSP, and they should not have released it.
I look forward to playing it on other platforms, but if I were you, I would steer clear of this one on PSP....more info

- Great Boxing Game, Sore Thumbs
This is a great boxing game, is very realistic, great graphics and a lot of options to upgrade your boxer(s). Definitevely a must have. I don't gave the 5 stars, because it is so addictive that you would finish your Fight Night's sessions with very sore thumbs because of the buttons configuration. However, get it!...more info
- the best boxing game ever!
this game has the best visual animations i have ever seen on a psp game. the career mode is definetly the best function of this game. if you get this game be sure to set up a fight between de la hoya and mayweather, that is the best matchup in this game save ali frazer....more info
- Fight Night comes thru...
If you like the Fight Night series, I suggest you get this game. This game is great. To the features, music, sound, and graphics. No other boxing game can compete.
Only downfall is, once you get to the top, beat everyone and get the belt, game looses its fun value. Ive been playing on hard ever since and the game still is easy. But it sure is fun fighting friends and the comp. Gotta add this game to your collection....more info
- Good But Not All That
THIS GAME IS KINDDA FUN BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. I RECENTLY PURCHASED THIS GAME USED AND I DONT KNOW IF ITS THE GAME OR WHAT? BUT THE LOADING TIMES ARE TO LONG, WAY LONG. NOT JUST LOADING TIMES AS SOON AS U PUT THE UMD IN, LOADING TIMES BETWEEN ROUNDS AND LOADING TIMES BETWEEN CHOOSING A FIGHTER. IT SEEMS LIKE THE GAME LOCKS UP FOR MORE THAN A FEW SECONDS WHEN U SCROLL FROM FIGHTER TO FIGHTER AND WHEN U SCROLL FROM THE DIFFERENT GEAR WHEN CREATING A FIGHTER. IT TAKES ME LIKE ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO ACTUALLY START A MATCH FROM THE MOMENT I INSERT THE DISC, TURN ON THE PSP AND SO ON. IF U REALLY WANT TO AVOID FRUSTRATIONS WITH THE LOADING TIMES DONT GET THIS GAME AND INSTEAD PLAY SUPER PUNCH OUT FOR THE SUPER NES OR MIKE TYSONS PUNCH OUT FOR NES, NONE OF THESE HAVE LOADING TIMES....more info
- Easy game, fast replace
This game have very good boxers but it is very easy, you will continuining fighting with the same guys and just have to beat them with the haymaker. I just used that game for 1 month and replace it with buying a new one. If you want a boxing one, just for your collection, then i recommend you, it has the faces of legends in boxing....more info
- great game
just play in hard mode and you are going to see a great battle, and the on line mode, this feature let you play with anyone around this planet. its fun...more info
This one I got it first for the PSP and then for the PS2. Control is more difficult in hard fights for the PSP version so you should start a career while you get use to them with less challenging fighters; however, uppercuts are a lot easier to throw on the PSP by pressing 2 buttons simultaneously than in the PS2 using the joysticks. Graphics in he PSP look better, round announcing chicks are hot and the sound of every bone crushing punch is noticed. With not many boxing titles in any platform and very few fighters on the market for the PSP this one is a must buy.
- This game Blows
this game sucks balls, graphics suck, gameplay is horrible, sound is terrible. Come on EA you can do better than this...more info
- Definatly NOT Satisfied
Well when I bought this game I thaught it would rock, Be Fantastic as Many Titles Of EA Games are. But really i am not very happy with it.... It starts cool you can create your own fighter or use A Famous Boxer. Like Ali. But then it all goes down hill. There is, well lets see Only 1 soundtrack to this game. And its A RAP song, Obviously. Ok so now you start playing. The load times aren't that bad maby 30-45 seconds. Once you in the game the graphics are pretty good. But the Commentry is terrable. The Anouncers Must be preset to only 2 fighter names, And there is a lag between the punch and the comentator commenting on it. Sometimes i find the game freezes for a second. But they are few and far between. The game becomes tiresome as once you become the champ, The Number 1. You have to defend the title constently and you keep playing the same contestents. I would not even give this game a second glance. I found it boring .......more info

- Much better then I expected
I am a huge boxing fan who is very picky when it comes to boxing video games. I loved Fight Night 2004 but hated Fight Night Round 2. Even though I purchased Round 3 for the PSP I was simply hoping for a passable game. After having played if for a few hours, I can now say that this is more then just passable, but is a great game. It does have some flaws: for instance the haymaker is launched from the top left button that you also use for swaying, so that when you sway and then counter you often automatically throw a haymaker. They should have mapped the haymaker differently (Maybe have you press both top buttons).
Still, the game is tremendously addicting. It has an awesome create a fighter mode that is pretty much a mini art game by itself. the graphics are PS2 quality and the controls really become intuitive after an hour or two. All in all, a must buy for PSP owners. ...more info
- This Game is a Knockout!
Although I don't play this one so much anymore, but back in the day couldn't put it down. Starting my own Career as a Heavyweight and seeing how far I could go was great. This game has a good all around playing style and the only improvements to be made are being able to keep more than one career fighter up and running.
If you are looking for action with blood and great slow motion Knockouts then this game is for you! I guarantee a great time. This is also perfect for those long train rides or in the back seat of the car for a long trip!...more info
- Best boxing game since MT's Punch Out
This game is by far the best game I own for PSP. The career mode lets you choose the style of fighter (I always build heavyweights), build entourages, and of course, pound the daylights out of opponents in 3-minute rounds. It's the perfect game going and coming from work or wherever you may be going. Only downside is that once you're champion with your customized champion, you can take on Muhammed Ali and probably take him down in 3 rounds. I took out Evander Holyfield in 2 rounds with a relative ease which just should not happen.
Overall still love this game!...more info
- Best fighting game ever
I have played many boxing games. You must play this to see. I feel like I am in the ring. Just buy it and see....more info
