Great Moisturizer I recently washed my hair with all of Carol's Daughter Tui products and after I blow dried my hair and put a little oil in it, it was very soft, manageable and easy to wrap. Overall, I think it's a great product....more info
amazing curls I just received this product and it transformed my hair so dramatically I don't know what people are complaining about. Some quick info on my hair: I have thick italian wavy hair and I recently fried it by trying to go blonde this summer. My hair is so damaged I've tried every cheap and expensive product on the market. When I say my hair texture feels like straw and is crispy I ain't joking. Even after many conditioning treatments and prayers my hair still looked kinda dull and frizzy when styled.
Fast forward to buying Carol's Daughter Tui Oil. I washed my hair with nexxus products and used a dab of their conditioner as a leave in conditioner since its so dry, I lathered in a quarter size of Tui Oil and blew dry the curls by scrunching. My hair came out very beautiful if I don't say so myself. The curls were well defined ringlets instead of drippy waves and the shine from the oil was healthy looking and not ridiculously oily. I thought it looked great and I bet after I keep using this product it will condition my hair very well.
Also for the record, I thought the smell was very nice. Not overpowering like these other people are saying. I recommend this for anyone who is at their breaking point, literally.
Wonderful I have natural, chemical free, dye free hair and this is the best oil product by far. Yes it's mainly corn oil but it is so light and smells great much better than petrolatum/chemical based products (the equivalent of smearing vaseline on the hair). My hair has always been very healthy and soft, but with the use of Tui, my hair has become supple and smooth and even more shiny. I will definitely keep purchasing this product and will recommend it to my friends. The scent is light and not overpowering and the visual image of the bottle is also calming. ...more info
Overrated Carol's Daughter I think is quite overrated....I have this oil & it just smells really good THAT'S IT....it's NOT an essential oil like olive, coconut, jojoba, avocado, grapeseed etc.....this oil just seriously sits on the hair.....it's great if you hair is looking a little dry and you just want to slap something on or if you want your hair too smell hmm hmm good...then this is great for you!! But if you are on a path to healthy hair....this is a useless oil....more info
must diagree with Nycole B I love this product. It takes only a few drops to make my hair shine. It is light, smells quite nice and is not at all overpowering or strong smelling. I don't buy cheap fragrances, so I don't know what "bad perfumes" reviewer NycoleB is comparing this with. I suppose everyone's body chemistry is different. I haven't found any other product that does what this does so I'll be buying another bottle when this one is done....more info
Smells great, but very overpriced I am a fan of Carol's Daughter products. Like others have mentioned the main ingredient is corn oil, something a lot of you have in your kitchen right now. I remember when I was little my grandmother would press my hair using corn oil. It left my hair feeling soooo soft and smooth, just as the Tui oil. It's light and natural, but leaves a tell-tale scent behind.
But what I like about this product is the fragrance; light and fruity. I don't feel that it's overpowering. But if you wouldn't mind your hair smelling like popcorn, just use everyday corn oil for a fraction of the cost. Better yet invest in some extra virgin light olive oil. It has no smell or harmful chemicals at all and does wonders for hair.
The down side of this product is the price, 18.00 for canola is a bit much but I love the scent. The angels wings that float in the bottle are a nice touch as well. So, if you won't mind spoiling yourself a bit go ahead a give it a try. If you don't like it on your hair it can double as a body oil....more info

Salad Dressing of Hair Oils I just bought this to moisturize my wavy, unruly hair.
Because it has a higher price tag than other creams, oils and hair balms, I was sure I'd found something I'd like.
I was attracted to the particles floating in it, which have an apple imprinted on them. It reminded me of flavored olive oil and vinegar where the herbs inside add visual appeal and taste.
This hair oil is mainly corn oil. The label says it has chamomile and calendula. All I could smell was corn oil.
I smelled like something that needed olives, tomatoes and some bleu cheese sprinkled on top. The next day I was glad to wash it out and just stick to my hair spray.
I'm glad I purchased the tiny bottle, which is smaller than a pill bottle. I passed it on, leaving someone else to try it.
smells delicious!!!!!!!!!! omg, i had to write a review to contradict all the "bad smell" reviews. this stuff smells soooooooooooooooo good. it reminds me of when i was young and used to use bonnie bell's roll on watermelon lip gloss.
i mostly just use it as a hot oil treatment every now and then. i dont keep it on and wear around. it does ok. noting special........except the smell. after reading that some people wear it out, i might try a dab to see how it does....more info
Overrated Just purchased this oil from Carol's daughter store and I was pleased for the first week. Yes it keeps your hair moisturized however, over a period of time it leaves your hair smelling weird. It smells like crayons. After going to the beauty parlor twice in a week I finally got rid of that weird smell...more info
Tui Oil I usually try products that promote healthy hair growth and moisturizes. My hair is thick and dry. I notice Carols Daughter ad and decided to try it. I instantly adored the Tui Hair Oil. This product is very light and does not leave your hair slick to your head or sticky. My hair is more moisturzed and managable and I owe it to Tui Hair Oil. It also gives a great shine along with the floral smell, which is one of the reason I like it so much. This product works well with the Leave in Conditioner which I also use. Moisture is what you get when you use this product and Im a satisfied customer with the both. My daily hair ritual is now complete with Tui Hair Oil. Thank you Carol's Daughter for comming up with such a great product. ...more info
The greatest product! I was amazed by the quality of this product when I first purchased it in the summer of 2006. It gives my hair a perfect sheen and softness that I have never achieved with such lightweight hair oil before and my hair has acheive lengths that I have not seen in years! Tui Hair Oil has a beautiful scent which does not change over the course of wearing it in your hair for a day or two, or even longer if you wish. ...more info
