GREAT - GET ONE, no GET TWO! This thing is great. Yes, its quiet. Yes, its simple. It has a filter you can clean / not all do. It has a LIGHTED display for setting the wanted and displayed humidity - excellent if placed in a dark basement etc...simple controls...quality. Works as advertised. Intake of air is in the back and out flow in the front. I like this because I can aim the out flow of air right into an air purifier - now dry and clean air at the same time! Has good wheels for moving it around / however this is a 45pt and is efficient enough to use in a small home or small apartment. Remember to keep your windows closed when using a dehumidifier - otherwise you are defeating the purpose. Can select from 35%, 40%, and up by 5% all the way to 80% humidity. Has a great continuous feature that will just let it run and run. SO QUIET - I owned a Whirlpool one...don't even bother with that noise maker. This takes the cake. I'm very happy with it...Danby is a great brand. Got any questions? Call the guy who makes them! --only reason not 5 stars...the air that blows out of it is very WARM. Not a problem if you have an airconditioner...in the summertime - or don't care about that. Okay - that's it....more info
