  Soleus PE2-09R-32DB 9000 BTU Portable Air ConditionerThis product says self-evaporating. But it really isn't. The drip pan internally gets full very quickly in high humidity. It is very difficult to drain and tends to overflow. The port is only 1 inch from the floor and impossible to put something under it to catch all the water. At least two gallons of water comes out. My unit worked well for about one season. Now it is very noisy, and consistantly needs to be drained. I drained it yesterday- used it one night and it needs to be drained again. I've been rolling it outside. It is about 65 lbs and not easy to move off of carpet. It might be okay for outdoor use in a garage or if you could roll it outside from a floor to a porch. But I feel the design is defective and the manufacturer knows it. The window kit is a joke and lets too much hot air back in the room. We created a better window mount with better insulation for the unit only now to find the evaporation system is no longer working. For almost $500 - I was hoping to cool two rooms and avoid buying two window units. I didn't expect it to be working for only one season. ...more info
