• Hypnosis for Birth... it's not as wierd as you think!
  I used the Hypnobabies method to birth my second child in March of 2008. What a difference!!! Many of my friends looked at me like I had a third eye when I told them I was using hypnosis for a pain-free birth. I promise, it is nothing like stage hypnosis! This is the most relaxing, normal thing you could do to prepare for birth. Just spend about 45 minutes a day for the six weeks leading up to your baby's birth listening to a CD and practicing some very easy hypnosis skills. I did this when I laid down to sleep at night... EASY! A great side benefit was I had some of the best pregnant sleep ever (if you have pregnancy insomnia, you know how horrible it can be). I also conquered my fear of needles and can now have blood drawn without fainting using my hypnosis techniques.   Hypnobabies Home Study is a wonderful and positive way to enjoy pregnancy and prepare for childbirth.
  
  What's different about Hypnobabies: You are getting an up-to-date, constantly reviewed childbirth education program with information on everything from nutrition, exercise, optimal fetal positioning, birthing positions, stages of labor, and how to write a birth plan but you ALSO get amazing Hypno-anesthesia tools that teach you how to anesthetize the middle of your body so you feel your "contractions" as pressure waves instead of painful sensations. You learn how to be an empowered consumer and think positively about birth and pregnancy.
  
  The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 is because, if you have the ability to take Hypnobabies with a local instructor, you should do so. Working with a local instructor is even better because you get the friendship of other couples, personal instruction from someone trained in childbirth education and hypnosis and interactive activities and items like posters and videos.

• A must have for birth!!
  I took a HypnoBirthing class with my last pregnancy and was NOT impressed with the lack of information and instruction on how to use hypnosis in birth. I continued to look around and found the HYPNOBABIES home study course and I'm sooo glad that I did!! It was exactly what I was looking for, childbirth education AND hypnosis techniques!
  
  I had a medically complicated birth (my son was born 2 months premature), but even with many necessary interventions, it was so easy and comfortable and I was so in tune with my baby and the birth process! • Makes so much sense!
  Not feeling like I was getting much out of the first childbirth preparation program I was using, I started doing my own research and came across HypnoBabies. I bought the homestudy course and started practicing at around 20 weeks pregnant.
  
  I cannot say enough how much I LOVE this program. Not only am I becoming more and more confident in my ability to birth my child without an epidural, but it has given me more confidence and focus in every other area of my life. Not to mention, doing the scripts gives me 30 minutes of 'me-time' every day to just relax, and even if I don't have time one day, I can just listen when I go to bed.
  
  There are support groups you can ask questions you encounter as you learn the method, and there are several other scripts (CDs or MP3s) available to assist with other pregnancy issues, like twin births, breech babies, nausea, sleeping difficulties, etc.
  
  Such a great program. If you have an open mind to some different ideas about what childbirth is like, this is a great investment, whether its your first child or your fourth (or more)!...more info
• Would never have another baby without it
  After 3 medicated births that were not what I wanted out of my birth experience I did some major research for my fourth baby. I found Hypnobabies and ordered the home study course. WOW!!! What a difference. I felt so in control and empowered. I had a pain free birth that was more than I could have dreamed for. In fact my husband who is an OB/GYN and has seen hundreds of births said, "I didn't know childbirth could be like this." I make sure I tell everybody I know about Hypnobabies because I know what an amazing birth experience it gives to Moms and their babies. • My birth was perfect because of Hypnobabies!
  I used the Hypnobabies program with my second pregnancy and birth and could not be more thrilled! My first baby was born naturally, but I basically 'muscled' my way through on sheer will power (30 hours of back labor and an hour of pushing while the doctors and nurses yelled at me to push harder). When I got pregnant the second time, I knew I wanted things to be different this time around. I did a lot of research on hypnosis for birth, and chose Hypnobabies because it was the most complete program I could find. I started using the affirmations early in my pregnancy, which really helped put me in a positive state of mind. I loved all of the CDs and looked forward to listening to them, and had a truly PERFECT birth. My birthing happened exactly as I had visualized (using the Visualize Your Birth hypnosis script)... starting in the early morning, getting stronger in the afternoon while my son napped so I could use my hypnosis without interruption, then birthing at dinnertime (I was only off by 27 minutes on the birth time from what I'd visualized!). It was around 11 hours from my first pressure wave to birth, and only 6 hours of active birthing, with just 11 minutes of pushing. I felt calm, comfortable, confident, safe, and lovingly supported the entire time. My husband knew just how to help me because of the great tools Hypnobabies provides for birth partners. The only sounds while I was pushing this time around were my husband reading me birth prompts, and me using my 'peace' cue to move my anesthesia around my body. It was so peaceful and beautiful, and I felt so connected to my baby and the entire experience - absolutely exactly the way I wanted it! I showed my birth video to my family last weekend, and my Grandma said, "I never knew birth could be like that!" My sister-in-law said, "Natural birth doesn't look so bad with hypnosis." • The best program for pregnancy and birth!
  Hypnobabies Home Study program is amazing! It is full of detailed information on pregnancy and birth, and hypnosis CDs are beautifully crafted.
  
  After an unsuccessful attempt with a different birth hypnosis program, I used Hypnobabies Home Study with my second birth and was amazed at the difference!
  
  Not only was I well prepared and calm during my second pregnacy, my birthing time was AMAZING. I would do it again RIGHT NOW if I could. My son is now 3 and I still think back fondly of my birth experience.

• Twins - naturally thanks to HypnoBabies!
  I discovered HypnoBabies (HB) with my second child, and I had an amazing birth. I look back on it fondly, even transition (which is supposed to be horrible). When I got pregnant with the twins, lots of people told me that they would have to be born by c-section *of course*. But HB had a set of discs for twin births and I added those to my set. I had an amazing, drug-free, pain-free twin birth in the hospital. I recommend it to every PG mom I meet who is interested in natural childbirth. ...more info
• Hypnobabies Rocks!
  I bought the Hypnobabies home study course during my first pregnancy, and I loved it! It is a complete childbirth education course, and I was completely empowered by the knowledge and skills I gained during the course.
  
  Although my son's birth didn't go exactly as I pictured, it was still an amazing experience. My mom was in the room with me while I was in labor, and she couldn't believe how calm I was during intense contractions...almost asleep, thanks to Hypnobabies!

  Definitely recommend buying the home study kit! It's a great way to take control of your pregnancy and birth and if you don't have time to work with an instructor (or have one near) you have the freedom to learn this necessary technique.   As a birth doula, I love attending Hypnobabies births. The parents are so prepared and confident. Out of all my Hypnobabies clients, only 1 couple was not easily able to achieve a pain med. free birth and that birth ultimately resulted in a c/s for a very mal-positioned baby. • Fabulous method for a natural birth.
  I have used hypnosis for childbirth for my last two babies. Hypnobabies was the most complete, informative, useful, effective method that I found. The tools that the program teaches are so valuable during birth and even in other aspects of your life. It is so nice to be able to go into a deep state of relaxation and hypnosis instantly whenever I need to. The program is very straightforward and easy to follow. It does take a consistent effort to learn and practice the techniques, but the reward is amazing.
  
  This is a great value for all of the information and techniques you will learn. It has everything you need from the consumer issues of childbirth (who to chose as a provider, do I need an IV?, what do I include in my birth plan?), how to stay healthy and eat well, anatomy of pregnancy and birth, self hypnosis techniques to stay relaxed and comfortable during the birthing time, to benefits and tips on breastfeeding and new baby care.

• Best decision we ever made!
  During my first pregnancy I took a live class from a different hypnosis for birth program, and was very disappointed. So I really did my research into all the available options before investing in the Hypnobabies Home Study. In my opinion, it is so far above and beyond anything else available on the market that it is in a category all its own. The Hypnobabies Home Study is amazingly complete, easy to learn and use, and resulted in an amazingly enjoyable birth! The natural childbirth information is invaluable and the self-hypnosis skills have been life-changing. They worked powerfully during my baby's birth and I have discovered many wonderful ways to use them daily since then. They are excellent birth and pregnancy skills, but also life skills that I use to eliminate stress, improve my sleep and handle daily discomforts for me and my family. My husband loved the fact that even though his schedule didn't allow him to be very involved in my preparation for the birth, he was able to quickly learn very effective and simple ways to play a huge role in my comfort during our natural birth. During the birth, my caregivers were amazed by how calm, happy and interactive I was. They nearly sent me home because I was "too happy to really be in labor". • Excellent, complete childbirth education with very effective hypnosis tools!
  I had an epidural with my first baby, but wanted a drug-free birth with my second. I took a class in another hypnosis method and while there were some helpful things in that course I still felt unprepared and unsure of how to really use hypnosis during my baby's birth. I ordered Hypnobabies and I am *so* glad I did! Hypnobabies gave me several very effective hypno-anesthesia techniques that allowed me to give birth completely comfortably without drugs!
