From eggs at breakfast to fish, chicken, or steak at dinnertime, this 8-inch open skillet is a great all-round performer when cooking for one or two. The advanced Quantanium nonstick coating is designed for healthy low-fat cooking, and titanium reinforcement makes it tough enough for use with metal utensils Even the most delicate foods can be cooked without sticking, and cleanup is quick and easy.

Cuisinart Chef's Classic cookware is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. • so far, it's great
Have had for a few months. got after seeing it or its larger sibling recommended on the cook's illustrated website. seems like a good value and we've been happy with our other cuisinart cookware. what a treat to have a new nonstick surface again!...more info
  • Nice pan, one quirk
What can you say about a pan? It cooks, and the food doesn't stick. That's about all I ask. The quirk I have found is that when you wash it, it seems that an obvious film of grease stays on the pan, and you can feel it with your finger and see the smears when you run your finger over it. That raises a question about what bacteria are thriving in that grease, and about the detergent that is dissolved in it. I have taken to washing them two times, the second time in fresh hot water that hasn't had any other dishes washed in it. Then I rinse it very well and dry it with a towel, not leaving it to air dry. Doubtful that I have removed all the grease that way, but at least I'm not seeing it, and "out of sight, out of mind"....more info
  • Great heat, not so great non-stick
I bought a set of these Cuisinarts about 9 months ago. This skillet was included in the set, as well as a smaller one and several pots.

Excellent heat conduction. Stays hot, cooks evenly and transfer from oven to stovetop and back is very convenient.

The nonstick coating is not really working anymore. Though these have never been in the dishwasher or been scrubbed with anything heavier than a sponge, the nonstick coating has slowly burned off in patches, and now, though it hasn't peeled or flaked, there are spots where the food will stick and nonstick spray or oil must be used. This is a pity because I was very careful not to overheat the pans--they have really been babied. I will probably buy another Cuisinart though, but this pan will need to be replaced within a few months....more info
  • I love it!
I just got this skillet about 2 weeks ago, so I'm not sure how long the cookware will last, but so far, I love how easy the cleaning part is. Before I got this skillet, I always put my nonstick cookwares in the dishwasher, and after I ruined the previous set, I know better to always hand-wash them. They're so easy to clean and use. Unlike the stainless steal pots, the skillet is light and easy to handle. They're definitely one of my favorites!...more info
  • Me
Nice skillet. It is designed well and works great. However, the test is to see how it performs after many uses and how long the nonstick surface lasts. But I will probably order a 10" skillet as well....more info
  • Excellent value!
These pans are heavy, well made with riveted handles. Very even heat distribution and they clean up with little more than a rinse. After purchasing one I went back and purchased the other 2 sizes. Quality product....more info
  • Cuisinart - CaCa
After 4-5 years of owning this is deteriorated and was recently replaced. I would not buy this product again....more info
  • What I've been missing!
Just the little non-stick I've been needing! Over-easy eggs are a joy to make. Pan is sturdy, high quality, and great to handle. LOVE IT!...more info
