Big disappointment When my beloved green Eureka Optima died after a few years, I saw that this model was new and improved and was on sale for $69.99 so I bought it. I loved it the first couple of times that I used it. However, it started to lose suction and I realized that when I tried to use it on my hardwood floors, it would spray dirt back onto my bare feet. I have cleaned the filters, replaced the belt and brought it in for a tune-up to no avail. I will be purchasing another Optima. ...more info
Clogs! Not for homes with pets! I've had this vacuum for almost 6 months now. When I first purchased this vacuum, I loved seeing all the dirt and hair get sucked in. After about three vacuums, I could not figure out why I had suddenly lost almost all suction. I had to take apart the back hose and pull out all the dust and hair myself because it was no longer getting into the container. It wasn't clogged in the hose, it was stuck right before it got to the container! So not only do I have to pull hair and dirt out of the top of the hose, but I have to take out the dust container and reach my hand up and around the filter to pull out all the hair and dust. I do this EVERY TIME I VACUUM!
Not only does it clog, but this model is definitely not made for any hard surfaces. I have experimented with adjusting the brush level, but no matter what, it leaves a trail of dust that flies out getting all over my floors and me!
I have one short haired cat, and it clogs every time. If you have a lot of traffic going through your home or wish to use this on hard surfaces, I strongly suggest against this model. ...more info
Best for the money I agree with previous reviewers. Very nice and reliable vacuum for the money. Sure, Dyson is better, but Dyson cost 5 times as much!! For the money you pay for this one it's the best value. I've had for ~3 months now and didn't find a job it can't handle. Very light, well-built vacuum. I would recommend it to anybody without any hesitation...more info

Decent product-Very Satisfied Not sure what the first person meant in his review. I've had this very same vacuum for a few months now and I'm very happy with it. That being said, most vacuums do have pros and cons to some extent or the other. No single vacuum is perfect for all. I'm tall like the second reviewer and find it extremely comfortable using it. The cup does fill up, which in my opinion is a good sign that the vacuum is funtioning at its best. This is my third Eureka and prefer this to the way too highly priced hoovers....more info
please don't waste your money. I purchased this vacuum and thought it worked well at first... but after a few months went by i didn't want to use it. its very uncomfortable to use and the suction doesnt' last at all. i couldn't even complete the room without having to find where it was cloged. Please don't waste your money on this machine!!
