Chart your Basal Body Temperature and predict ovulation - your most fertile time of the month for conceiving a baby - with a specially designed digital BBT Thermometer. When a woman ovulates, a rise in body temperature takes place in order to provide a more fertile environment for conception. By monitoring when this temperature change occurs, you can determine when ovulation takes place in your cycle. Recording each day's basal body temperature with a BBT Thermometer will help you predict ovulation. The Fairhaven Health Digital Basal Thermometer provides temperature readings to 1/100th of a degree - perfect for fertility charting and predicting ovulation.

  • Accurate to 1/10th of a degree
  • Beeps at peak temperature reading
  • Features a large, easy-to-read digital display
  • Displays a memory recall of your last reading

Customer Reviews:

  • Perfect timer
This thermometer is very acurate and reliable. I am tracking my BBT for fertility reasons, and I love that I can roll over in bed, take my temperature, and I have ten minutes before I actually have to get out of bed to record the reading. ...more info
  • Body Basal Thermometer
I was impressed with how fast the thermometer got to me! That was exciting! I also really lke the size of the thermometer. It is not huge and it has a nice case to protect it. I think that it has been pretty accurate for me so far, but I have only had it for a month. THe other thing I really like abouit it is that it stires temperatures so it I forget what my temperature was that morning all I have to do is look at the thermometer and it will tell me!...more info
  • it is good , not more
I got this product 3 days after i submit the purchase , it worked fine only for 2 days then it stop working, I wrote an email to the seller, and after many emails and one week he send a new one , the new one is working fine . It does not have memory for you last reading , it keeps one reading , but not the last one, looks like the higher in history. ...more info
  • Good Service
This product came in good condition and in a timely manner. Thermometer is a bit slow and can take several minutes. But works!...more info
  • paid for it and never received it!
I ordered this item a month ago. They keep saying it is on the way but I have no method of tracking it and they billed me immediately. I have ordered from other places and things never take this long. Won't be ordering from here again....more info
  • Memory is inconsistant
The memory feature is less to be desired. It more often sets back to the default temperature when holding the ON button. It is a pain to have to get out of bed and walk across the room to turn on the light to read it and record it right away. I bought it because of the memory feature and am displeased with the lack there of. Now I just keep a flashlight next to the bed so I can record it right away. I wouldn't recommend this one if you are counting on the memory to be correct last temp taken. ...more info
  • Don't buy from BP Medical Supplies!!!
Check their seller feedback and see the negative reviews before you buy. I wish I had before I ordered this. I still haven't received mine yet so I've now canceled the order....more info
  • Easy to use
This thermometer makes it easy to take your temperature every day. Its easy to read and, since it beeps when it has reached temperature, it is easy to use. The only problem is that I sometimes wake my husband with the beeping....more info
  • convenient thermometer
This thermometer beeps when finished calculating my temperature in the morning, which is really nice when I'm not quite ready to get up yet. I can lay with my eyes closed and wait for the beep. The only downside is that it takes longer than 1 minute to read the temperature, so I wish it worked a little faster....more info
  • Works Well but got it cheaper elsewhere
Been using it for 2 weeks. Works well. Would be nice if the face lite up but oh well. Also I saw it at walmart for 8.99....more info
  • Good enough
This thermometer is good enough. I wouldn't rave about it because it does seem like it takes FOREVER to actually finish reading your temp. Sometimes up to 5 minutes, which can be incredibly annoying at 530am! But it is better than a regular thermometer because it is more accurate. I would suggest spending a little more money to get a rapid read basal though!...more info
  • Better options available
No backlight and the one I received was too sensitive. ANY motion (like breathing) screwed up the reading and it takes 2 minutes to get a reading. Try something else!...more info
  • Great Buy!
This product is easy to use and very accurate. The directions are simple to read and understand and it is just what you need to track ovulation. I suggest using the ovulation calendar found on [...] with this product. ...more info
  • defective product
Product arrived promptly, but could only use it for a week because it had a rusty battery....more info
  • Excellent
Gives very accurate temp and works well with anyone practicing Natural Family Planning or anyone who charts their cycle....more info
  • Memory Feature Doesn't Work Consistently, I Mis-Recorded Data
One reason I got this model was the memory feature that records the last temperature. It doesn't work consistently. The bold print directions said that it displayed last temperature recorded on start up, so that's what I was recorded for a few days. Oops, the fine print instructions say it always displays 97.70 on start up, and to display the last recorded temp you must hold down the start button. However, the threshold between holding down the on/off button while starting means it gets turned off half the time. So the morning routine is: press and hold on/off button, see quick flash of numbers, now it's off again. Couldn't tell what they were. I'm buying a different model....more info
  • sed it three times and now it doesn't read correctly
It's made out to be one of the best thermometers for ovulation but I found that it just didn't work very well, at all.
The reading took forever, it never beeped, and my temperature was at 92f? Umm yeah that's not even close... I do know very well, how to take my temperature, So I'm not sure what the problem was.
My Husband tried it too but it was also reading his temp at 92f...

Just use a calendar and get knocked up, it's easier and more effective....more info
  • not great
Within a month of using this, the beeps started sounding sickly and it seems to behave unreliably. It is now dead - it just show a tiny little icon that I think indicates the battery is low. That's pretty lame to come with such a low battery. It is also tricky to get the temperature to recall, i.e., if you fail to hold the button down just right to get it to show you the last temp it recorded, it might whisk right past that screen too quickly and clear the memory - seems you only get one shot at the temp recall! I'm happier with my Walgreen's digital and writing down or really making the effort to remember what it says....more info
  • Accurate, easy to use, inexpensive
It was very reliable, simple to use especially very early in the morning. It helped make charting ovulation a breeze. We have a 10 month old son as a result :)....more info
  • Average Thermometer
I think this thermometer is about average. There are definitely better ones on the market and there are certainly worse ones out there too.

-Beeps every time you do something, which is good for taking your temp in the morning when you are barely awake
-Has a recall feature, though it is hard to push that little button long enough to see it.
-Has a cute little pink end, which deters your husband from stealing it off your nightstand.
-You can print additional temperature charts (it comes with one) for free from the manufacturers website.

-It reads about 1.5 degrees higher than both of my other thermometers (I bought it because of the additional decimal place in the display -- easier to detect slight changes)
-The probe is REALLY thin, and I feel like I can snap it off with my tongue.
-It takes longer than other digital thermometers that I have used. I don't necessarily equate taking longer to read with being more accurate, so I'm going to go ahead and mark that down as a negative.

Overall, I'd say that you can get about the same product for a couple of dollars cheaper by going with another thermometer. Amazon does group this one in with some pregnancy tests and ovulation predictors, so maybe that's enough to make you buy it. (Hey, that worked for me.)...more info
  • Very accurate and consistent.
I got this product because I have been getting sick a lot and my cvs/wallgreens/shaws thermometers never seemed to be consistent. Well this one is both consistent and also accurate. Only con is that it takes a while for it to show the results but I'm pretty sure that is just me being impatient....more info
  • Completely inaccurate and inconsistent
I have used this thermometer for months, and I have finally gotten to the point of buying another because this one is just completely inaccurate. Sometimes when I have gotten a surprising reading (too high or too low for that day), I have taken my temp again right after, and each consecutive taking of temp has yielded dramatically different results. Just this morning I had a 98.08, and 98.22, and a 98.40 within seconds of one another. I have seen this inconsistency many times. I needed this thermometer for ovulation tracking, and with that kind of variance, it is anything but reliable....more info
  • My first Basal Thermometer
This is my first BBT Thermometer, as I recently started fertility charting. It's OK I guess, but there is no light, which is really annoying, it takes FOREVER (at least 3 minutes usually), and this morning it beeped about 2 minutes earlier than usual and gave me an extremely low temperature, which I had to discard. I don't know how this compares to others because I haven't used any others, but I'm going to shop around for one with a light....more info
  • Good Basal Therm
I am generally pleased with this product, however it does take a long time to reach the peak temperature. I'm talking, like, 2 minutes. Other than that I have been very pleased....more info
  • Thermometer
Aside from it being pink it works just fine and has a handy recall feature should you forget your last temperature measurement....more info
  • Does the job for little money & effort.
Not top-of-the-line, but this works very well for me, and for a very reasonable price.

    +it is inexpensive
    +it is accurate
    +beeps when finished
    +beeps when turned off
    +has recall of last temp

-no backlight [but not claimed to have one, and frankly, I don't test until sunlight's filtering in or husband is up in the other room with light coming down hallway, so the point is moot for me]
-takes 2-3min for temps sometimes [again, not a big deal for me]

For the price, this was worth it for me. It's a great, inexpensive way to chart and, in my case, practice FAM to avoid pregnancy -- and eventually have great records of my cycles for when I do want to conceive.

Company ships quickly and in good, protective packaging, too....more info
  • works, but needs a back light
You have to really have your eyes open and a light on to see the temp. Hard to do when you just woke up!! Besides that, it works fine....more info
