Customer Reviews:

  • Healthy and Delicious
My children (3 & 5) love Mighty Bites. They think they are delicious, and I know that they're so much better than other cereals out there. Not only do they NOT have lots of preservatives, chemicals, sugar, sodium, and junk, they actually have nutritionally valuable whole grains and vitamins. Buying them here is cheaper than in the store (they're very hard to find, also) and it's delivered right to my door. Oh, if everything in life was this easy ......more info
  • Not good in bowl or dry as snack
I have liked other Kashi products, but not this one. I bought it originally for snacking, but the flavor dry was burnt sugar (somewhat pleasant) followed by overprocessed grain, with the crunch quickly degenerating into a pasty mouthfeel. In milk, the flavor was largely the same on pieces that had not yet become saturated. However, it became soggy so quickly that by the end of the bowl it was just the overprocessed grain taste, more so than Cheerios or other big-name cereals.
I like the flavor of grains, which is why I turned to Kashi for a snack cereal. The effect I got, though, was not grain augmented by sweetness but a sugar flavor covering up low-grade composition....more info
  • Good taste with less sugar
My kids are like most and they see the ads on television for this cereal and that cereal. Many of them are "sugar bombs" with little nutritional value. The kids know that they need to check the nutrition facts before they ask me to buy one.

Mighty Bites is a cereal that I'm happy to buy for them.

Mighty Bites Honey Crunch is also made from oats and has less than half the sugar of the Honey Nut Cheerios that we used to buy. They like the taste and often eat them without milk as a take-along snack.

I recommend Might Bites Honey Crunch for you and your kids.

  • Kashi Mighty bites, delicious and nutritious
My seven year old son loves these, and I haven't been able to find them locally. He eats them for breakfast or just as a snack, and they far surpass most kids' cereal for nutrition, including fiber. ...more info
  • These are Okay
I like this cereal dry to snack on, however they disintegrate with in seconds in milk and become a mushy mess ...more info
  • Nore Nutritious than Cheerios
Tastes good. Same portability as Cheerios. more protein and less sugar than cheerios. My baby likes to snack on it and so do I....more info
  • Kidlike yet adult nutrients...
I've purchased many of Kashi brand products, and I've never been disappointed. I discovered this particular cereal perusing the cereal section of Amazon.com. Since I've been on my diet, I've missed having the sweet cereals with the marshmallows and decay filled sugar grams. However, I was able to enjoy the best of both worlds with this cereal. The cereal has minimal sugar, but if you put several packets of Splenda on it, you won't notice it. The fiber content is better than most shaped cereals, and the price for this type of cereal is a steal! ...more info
  • simply a great tasting, healthy cereal
So your kids want cartoony kid cereals. You want them to eat something decent. Kashi has made Mighty Bites for you. My kids (1,5,8) love this stuff. It's slightly reminicent of graham crackers. The cereal itself is shaped like little people; fun for kids. My 1 year old eats it dry; dumped on the highchair for breakfast or simply as a take-along snack. In a 1 cup serving they have 1.5 g of fat, 3 g fiber, 5 g sugar, and 5 g of protein. That's pretty impressive. Perhaps, as with any grocery item bought in bulk from Amazon, you might want to try a single box from the grocery store first but my guess is that most kids (adults too) would go for this stuff....more info
  • Kids love it!
In search of a breakfast cereal lower in sugars and without corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup that my children still love, I've found Kashi's Mighty Bites. Both of my children really like this cereal and the nutritional value makes mom happy too!...more info
  • Mighty Bites
Best Cereal For Kids On the Market. I have three sons and all love it. It is the only one we buy. ...more info
  • Great tasting and low in sugar.
I am always amazed that this has such great flavor for only 5g sugar per serving. My kids and husband love it. I have a hard time keeping it around they go though it so fast. Super price on Amazon. I really love the subscribe and save feature....more info
  • Mighty Bites by Kashi
I think it is great that you can have a cute colorful boxed nutrionally sound cereal to feed your family. The most important things I look for in a cereal is the sugar grams and fiber. I think it has a great taste as do my 2 children 3 and 6. The little people shapes is also a bonus (they love that). We have it dry, with milk, and as a handy dry take along snack. I do not find this in every store like the other Kashi cereals and stock up when I am at a store that carries this.

Like I read in another review, buy one box to make sure you like it before you order the 6 pack. It is a great and healthy alternative to the other sugar laden cereals mass marketed on television....more info
Try these! Absolutely delicious. They really keep their 'bite' rather than getting soggy like cheerios. The texture is really amazing, I don't know how they do it. The amount of honey is perfect, making these a great breakfast choice- not too sweet and not too 'healthy' tasting. And Mighty Bites are more hearty than most cereals; more a meal than a snack. Seriously, I don't want them to ever stop making these so PLEASE TRY THEM!!!

I agree with others about hard to find; I actually stocked up when I found them in Vermont on vacation! When Whole Foods has them they are slightly more expensive than Amazon....more info
  • Far better than sugar snap/flake/pop cereals
The kids like these about as much as plain Cheerios (why do all kids love Cheerios?), and they have less sugar and more fiber and nutrients than most kids' cereals. Actually, our kids didn't like sweetened cereals at all for a long while. I used to get these 2 or 3 boxes at a time at Trader Joe's, but this is more convenient for about the same price, maybe even a little cheaper....more info
  • Great taste, kids like it
This cereal is very appealing and my kids like it. I like it for what it has (3 grams of fiber, 5 grams protein) and what it does not have (lots of preservatives, processed sugars). Highly recommended, and also recommend the other Kashi cereals for kids and adults....more info
  • Depends on the kid
My son loves them. When I have a box in the house he eats them every day for breakfast. My daughter doesn't care for them. They are 6 and 8 respectively....more info
  • Horrible!
We hated this product. We like other Kashi products but this was inedible. We ended up trying to give it away. Nobody wanted it....more info
